Together for a Better Moldova

Category: News Created on 21 May 2018

We at Beginning of Life do our best to share love and compassion with both our beneficiaries within the projects, but also with the community we live in. Each opportunity to step out, be engaged and serve outside ‘the walls’ brings us great joy and satisfaction.

This time, the ‘Day of Good Deeds event’ was our amazing opportunity to step out and reach the vulnerable of our community – a special charity event that gathered thousands of volunteers from all over the country in Chisinau for participation in charity actions. Together with young people, students and mature that volunteered to spend an entire day helping the poor and the needy, we also joined and served with an ‘army’ of 70 people from Beginning of Life, mostly students of ‘Way to Success’, but also social workers and teachers. Our big group was divided in small teams, so one of our teams went to an orphanage to help paint and restore certain things from the territory of the institution, another trainer with his team marched towards an orphanage in Orhei to help there and another team visited a kindergarten. Also one team stayed at the fair to invite people to experience art therapy workshops and also helped parents with their children find entertainment in various sport activities, games and discussion.

We hope that our participation and the participation of the other thousands of people will speak once again of a community, here at home in Moldova that has heart, hopes and acts for a better future, for a transformed and healthy society.
