Through art to healing (video)

Category: News Created on 23 December 2013

At May 31 Beginning of life celebrated the establishing of the Psychological and Art Studio (PAS). The uniqueness of this centre is that here adults and children can be healed through art. The appearance of this creative center has become the fruit of hard work and many prayers of BOL team, and sure with special involvement of our partners.

In Moldova there are hundreds and thousands of people who suffer in their families from abuse and violence. Arts and music are very powerful tools for passing such trauma.

We combine psychological consultations and Arts. In the PAS we are offering special attention and care for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and people who suffer from loneliness (especially – young single mothers). At the same time PAS develops skills of gifted children. On the base of this centre already was organized conference for Christian artists, and in future there are plans to organize
Art’s festivals, exhibitions, to bring an extra point for raising self-esteem and hope for the future, as well as to aware even artists about phenomena of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
