III UK Charities Forum

Category: News Created on 18 November 2014

We are always open and ready to share with others our vision, methods and understanding of how non-profits can and do contribute to the changes in Moldova. This time Beginning of Life received an invitation to join III-rd UK Charities Forum that has been taking place on 12 Nov.2014 in British Embassy. Most likely in your mind will appear a question: since when BOL became a UK charity? Don’t worry Beginning of Life remains as it was truly national, Moldovan organization.

The point is that ambassador Phil Batson, visiting some time ago BOL, wanted us to share with UK charities working in Moldova, local experience of how we respond to acute social challenges in the country. As well it was useful to hear what are doing other NGOs and international organizations on different levels of society. And having the opportunity to present our holistic response to trafficking, exploitation and related issues, we believe someone was inspired to share with us this passion of changes.

What we'll say, warm atmosphere, dialog and networking were distinctive for this event. After the formal meeting, discussions continued at a reception at the residence of the ambassador.

New day, new insights and new people willing to make a difference…
