Stop Violence! (video)

Category: News Created on 26 November 2015

In spite of the cold weather outside, our team from Urban Center Balti has performed an amazing public awareness event in the center of the city. Their goal was to motivate people take into consideration their often ignorance towards violence, marginalization and exploitation happening around them every day.

For that, BOL team prepared special acts of social character played by Way to Success students and volunteers. Surprisingly, people’s reaction was very encouraging, given the fact that almost every passerby stopped and showed interest in ending the violence and protect the vulnerable. More than that, people were discussing the issues together with our volunteers, giving ideas of why and how violence and marginalization can be overcome in their town and in the country.

For us, this manifestation was a great success in terms of awareness and motivation. Dozens of people know more about these issues now than before and will not go carless through such situations. This is our encouragement giving us strength to go on and be the change that people are looking for.
