From the beginning, BOL’s care for vulnerable women has arisen from an awareness of how deeply poverty and deprivation affect their lives, and subsequently the lives of their children, creating a vicious cycle of vulnerability.
ELC seeks to intervene in the critical situation of single mothers to prevent child abandonment, as well as to empower them to develop their children for a better and safer future. ELC offers an appropriate, stimulating environment and materials for early child development, where single mothers can learn in a positive way how to educate their infants through understanding their feelings, needs and abilities.
