Building resilient communities
The Building Resilience in Vulnerable Communities (BRVC) program developed in
partnership with Foundation for Social Change and Inclusion UK to create alternative
holistic model of education and integration aiming to transform the future prospects
of children and young people together with their families and communities in
Moldova as well as other countries of the region.

to fully understand deeply rooted challenges of individuals and the communities
with its complex causes and effects, BOL team launched in 2014 the Studio of Innovative
Leadership (SIL) - a creative training platform that involve leaders and their teams in
an alternative
on-going education and best practices in the local contexts. In SIL leaders are shaped
and changed.

HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE
More than
1/3 of Moldova’s population lives in poverty, and these people are at constant risk of
experiencing various forms of oppression and marginalization. In response to the
desperate situations faced by vulnerable groups, BOL provides humanitarian assistance,
which allow needy people cover their very basic needs such
as food, clothing and hygiene items.

SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
Within the
last 20 years BOL has launched over 10 self-sustainability initiatives with different
scale, run duration and impact. Art Story is on of those projects which rises
sustainability of the organization and gives opportunity for young women at risk, single
mothers and victims of social injustice and exploitation to discover their great
potential, learn new professional skills and become self-sustainable.
